Synesthesis is a generative art experiment that merges synthesis and synesthesia: shapes and colors are arranged in defined structures, interacting in ways that create new visual relationships with each execution. The elements follow precise rules, forming a composition that transforms perception and generates ever-changing visual experiences, where the overlap of patterns and colors redefines how we see them. Inspired by synesthesia, this project explores how the mind interprets shape and color when they combine within a dynamic structure.

Buitrago is a Colombian visual artist and architect whose work bridges the digital and the physical. His practice blends generative systems coded in JavaScript with traditional techniques such as acrylic on canvas, creating a dialogue between mathematics, technology, and beauty. Influenced by both modern abstraction and the natural landscapes of Colombia, his art reveals harmony hidden within apparent chaos.
Buitrago has exhibited nationally and internationally, with shows in Bogotá, Miami, and New York, and his work has been collected by institutions such as the British Embassy and Universidad de La Sabana. He has also spoken at major events including NFT.NYC, Colombia 4.0, and the Blockchain Summit Latam.
Looking forward, his aspiration is to expand the boundaries of generative art by integrating blockchain technology, ensuring that collectors not only witness beauty but also take part in its creation. Through his work, he seeks to reveal the universal order that underlies both art and life.
